AC Ranbat this Saturday 7/24/2010

So kiddos, this Saturday will be a first of many to come. Just a small get together or Ranbat(random battle) for people to come out in between tournaments and see old friends and meet new ones. Also, I need the practice offline. I think we all do. Anywho, if your interested, all you need is a few things.

1. Bring your own stick. If you fight pad, your own pad. Don't depend on others to do for you. Cause you'll end up being short.
2. Money for some food and drinks. Cause I'm not yo momma and this ain't no soup kitchen.
3. And some bandages for the ass whoopin' you might receive. lol.

We are playing Super, so come prepared. I might bring Tekken 6 also, so if you play that, you should get prepared also. I'm mean with King, just playing. And then in a few weeks after that, there will be the 3rd "AC ThrowDown" tournament on August 7th, so stay on the lookout. If there is anything I'm forgetting, let me know. So have a great week, and I hope to see you there. Peace

Up and Coming!

Allow my self to introduce... myself. This is your fearless and dashing leader Hassan. Hello, hola, konichiwa, bonjour, whadup, whatever language you speak. OK, so I have a few ideas for the up and coming month. The month of August will be the most exciting month ever to be on a calender. It will be jam packed with activities galore. First, the return of the most anticipated monthly tournament series, "AC Throwdown." It will come to you on the first Saturday of August, hell or high water.
Secondly, for the time in between, we will be having a meet up session every other Saturday. So, not only will you be able to prove your worth on the battle field, but you'll be able to practice on your tournament skills and meet new friends in the process. Exciting right?! I know. Moving on.
Thirdly, I will be making attempts to add more diversity to the thing we all love and hold dear, video games. Now, I don't mean more color, cause I'm sure we have every race represented you racist. I mean more games, more fun, more more more. So be on the look out for different games like BlazBlue: Continuum Shift, NCAA 2011, Madden 2011, Tekken 6, UFC 2010, NBA2K10 & 11, and many more as they become available. Meaning as soon as I can make the money to get them.(Cry for Money#1) This is exciting to me for a host of reasons, but you have to watch the interview to figure out why. I'm such a tease.

In closing, I'd like to thank everyone who follows my directions and reads these things, cause I don't do it for my health. Just kidding. Now, I will be sure to post all the events with time, games, fees(Cry for Money#2) and other information that is pertinent to the events. I hope all this takes off, cause it could really put the DMV area on the map. So support(Not a Cry for Money), come out and enjoy yourself at every event. No matter 1 person or 100, this is my dream and it will happen. Aight yall, I'm gone. Peace and stop lookin' green.

It will be at he top in the streams section. Have fun.

What will you be doing this Weekend?

So this is the week building up to the weekend of EVO2k10. I'm sure you know what EVO is if your reading this, but I'll go over it just in case. EVO is the biggest and baddest competition for competitive fighting games. This year, they will hold 6 tournaments in various titles. Super Street Fighter 4, Tekken 6, Melty Blood, Tatsunoko VS Capcom, Marvel Vs Capcom 2, and Street Fighter HD Remix. These are the games of choice this year. I'm excited to see people like Justin Wong, Marn, Sanford, Tri-force, Inthul, Philapino Champ, Lamerboy, Nerd Josh, and others from countries like the UK, Japan, South America, Canada, and several other places over the world. These are people who have made their name world famous by competing head to head in fighting games. I had plans on making it out there, but do to money, and me sucking, my plans have switched. But, this year, the age of lagless streaming is upon us. With G4 taking notice of the fact that video games isn't just something you sell to people, but it's a lifestyle choice, they will be showing the stream in their own time. I will post the link for when they will show it and such. But check the Shoryuken.com website for details and times on when the game you wish to see played by the top competitors in the world is going on. The SSF4 tournament has reportedly over 2000 participants entering this year. Also, the first Women's Only SSF4 tournament. So all that say, I'm going to be in the house all this weekend, watching EVO2K10, wishing I was there, just as you will doing. If you have anything to add to the post or a response, hit me up on the blog. I hope everyone has a great weekend, Peace!
