OK everyone, we are about one week out from the next installment of AC Throwdown. There should be some pretty good competition this month. The champion from the first competition, Shinku, is returning to defend his title. He has a sick Ryu. Ryan aka "Dingaling10" is coming back to get some revenge on the big stage. Also coming,there are some new bloods to ACTD, but not to the fighting game scene. "Mr. Dieselton" from XBL will be in attendance, along with some of his friends. Others will come also, so if you think you can stand the pressure and keep those links crispy, come out and have some real fun. Again, casuals will start around 12 or so. The competition will start at 1. Concessions will be available, so you don't have to miss one moment of the action. Aight, i'll see you there, with major Claw. Peace!

Alliance Comics returns with a new monthly series titled, "AC Throwdown." Coming off the heels of a successful Free Comic Book Day tournament, Alliance Comics is back at it. On the first Saturday of each month, a tournament will be held in the basement of Alliance Comics in Silver Spring, MD.

Rundown:
BYOS
2 TV setup.
Double Elim Brackets
Matches are recorded and uploaded to website
Fees:
Venue Fee; 2$
Event Fee; 5$
Payout:
Winner takes 70%
Second takes 15% of remaining pot
Third takes 5% of remaining pot
Preregister at neighborhoodgamers@gmail.com. Preregistration will stop on June 2nd. Registration the day of the tournament will end at 1:30. So please, show up on time ready to fight.

Why: If you have to ask, then you definitely need to come out and see who's competing.

It's about time we have something to call our own. So you just reading this is evidence that you feel the same way. So, come out to the local scene and meet others like you.
