ACThrowDown is Coming again!!

Wassup, it's been while. I'm sure some loss faith, some moved away, some put the sticks down. But, I can say with conviction, things are back and are going to get better. Here's the posting on SF4answers.com and shoryuken.com.

The Alliance has Returned!!! Tournament @ Alliance Comics 11/6/10

OK, like the title says, "The Alliance has Returned!!!" ACThrowdown is back bitches! It's been a rough past few months, had to take some time off to get stuff straight, so sorry for the people who came out and supported. But, sound the horns, cause you can now return to Alliance Comics on 11/6/10 for some of the best local competition in DC. It's been a while, so let me refresh you on how it goes.

• Double Elimination. Best 2/3 rounds for none Champ rounds. 3/5 for Championship round.
• Played on 360. 2 TV set up, 2 360's. If you can bring a set up, I'll drop the venue fee. Let me know before hand though.
• 10$ pot fee(upping the ante) and a 5$ venue fee. Simple is, simple does.
• Bring your own stick. Don't expect anyone to loan you theirs.
• 1st takes 70%, second takes 25%, and third takes 5% of pot.

The tournament will start at 12pm and will probably finish before 6, but if not, that's what time the venue closes. Come early so I can do the brackets and what not. This Saturday!!

This Saturday is the triumphant return of the Throwdown at Alliance Comics. If your not familiar with it, just check the page and familiarize yourself with it. We should have some exciting competition this week. I haven't practiced much, but I'm still sure I can handle my own. This week though, there should be some casuals in Tekken 6 for those interested. We only have two TV's, so they will take place before and after the main tournament. So come out and check it out, I'm sure you will ahve fun and meet some interesting people. Ok, sorry iv'e been lazy. Just want to drop by and let you know that this Saturday, there will be no Tournament. Next Saturday, August the 14th, will be the tournament date. So please, don't come to the store asking where everyone is, because you will need to pick your face off the ground when you realize that no one is coming. So again, next Saturday, the 14th is the next AC Throwdown. Peace and watch out for that uppercut.

Interview with Rugi and Hassan

AC Ranbat this Saturday 7/24/2010

So kiddos, this Saturday will be a first of many to come. Just a small get together or Ranbat(random battle) for people to come out in between tournaments and see old friends and meet new ones. Also, I need the practice offline. I think we all do. Anywho, if your interested, all you need is a few things.

1. Bring your own stick. If you fight pad, your own pad. Don't depend on others to do for you. Cause you'll end up being short.

2. Money for some food and drinks. Cause I'm not yo momma and this ain't no soup kitchen.

3. And some bandages for the ass whoopin' you might receive. lol.

We are playing Super, so come prepared. I might bring Tekken 6 also, so if you play that, you should get prepared also. I'm mean with King, just playing.And then in a few weeks after that, there will be the 3rd "AC ThrowDown" tournament on August 7th, so stay on the lookout. Up and Coming!

Allow my self to introduce... myself. This is your fearless and dashing leader Hassan. Hello, hola, konichiwa, bonjour, whadup, whatever language you speak. OK, so I have a few ideas for the up and coming month. The month of August will be the most exciting month ever to be on a calender. It will be jam packed with activities galore. First, the return of the most anticipated monthly tournament series, "AC Throwdown." It will come to you on the first Saturday of August, hell or high water.

Secondly, for the time in between, we will be having a meet up session every other Saturday. So, not only will you be able to prove your worth on the battle field, but you'll be able to practice on your tournament skills and meet new friends in the process. Exciting right?! I know. Moving on.

Thirdly, I will be making attempts to add more diversity to the thing we all love and hold dear, video games. Now, I don't mean more color, cause I'm sure we have every race represented you racist. I mean more games, more fun, more more more. So be on the look out for different games like BlazBlue: Continuum Shift, NCAA 2011, Madden 2011, Tekken 6, UFC 2010, NBA2K10 & 11, and many more as they become available. Meaning as soon as I can make the money to get them.(Cry for Money#1) This is exciting to me for a host of reasons, but you have to watch the interview to figure out why. I'm such a tease.

In closing, I'd like to thank everyone who follows my directions and reads these things, cause I don't do it for my health. Just kidding. Now, I will be sure to post all the events with time, games, fees(Cry for Money#2) and other information that is pertinent to the events. I hope all this takes off, cause it could really put the DMV area on the map. So support(Not a Cry for Money), come out and enjoy yourself at every event.
